Mullier strongest in Kirklees Sportive!
Around 300 riders took park in the annual Kirklees Sportive, comprising 80 miles of impressive and demanding countryside taking in many long climbs, including Holme Moss. With a motorcycle escort, the mass start proceeded at a steady pace and it wasn't long before a group of around 10 riders went ahead including four Nova riders, Duncan Mullier, Simon Ketteringham, Dave Morris and Paul Lehan. Eventually, Duncan, proved the strongest rider finishing in the fastest time with Dave, Simon and Paul around 10 minutes behind. Bruce Fowler rode impressively, only a few minutes beind the others. The weather again proved one of the hardest challenges, with driving rain for most of the ride. Bring on the sunshine!
